Happy 4th of July

The kids and I made cupcakes for the 4th of July. It was messy fun!

Friday night we went to the free movie in the park and poor little Paisley fell over her stroller in the dark and split her lip open. Then last night we were doing fireworks in the driveway and she touched the top of her sparkler after it had burned out. Yes, she burned her finger and now has a blister. Who knew the 4th could be so dangerous?

We had a perfect view of the city fireworks right from our front lawn so we laid on a blanket and enjoyed the show without the crowd. It was a fun night.
