The 4th of July Weekend

We had an enjoyable 4th of July Weekend. On Sunday we had a BBQ and Monday night went to the neighborhood firework party. The kids all played nicely together.

Well this coming week we have tons planned so prepare for picture overload next week.

We just discovered Paisley's newest talent. She loves to draw. She holds her pen better than most adults and we did not teach her this. She concentrates very carefully when drawing and draws specific images and shapes and says "Jesus" or "flower". It is so cute. I think she will be a little artist.


The other day she walked into the kitchen with her stroller, high heels and purse and said "Mommy, I shopping" she had car keys in her purse and money and her stroller was supposed to be the shopping cart and it was full of items. I don't know where she learned this because I never say "I'm going shopping" I always say "I'm going to the store" and I usually leave the kids home. She is sure growing up!

Gabe is trying really hard to be a good kid but has his moments. He loves standing up for what is right. If he hears someone say a naughty word he will tell them that they shouldn't say that word. If he feels a TV show is bad then he will let everyone know and change the channel. He also loves to talk about what makes Jesus happy. What a good little kid.

Manuel recently got a promotion at work and has taken on a lot of new responsibility. He also became an Elder's Corum teacher at church and taught his first lesson today.
