Germany - Week 2

This last week we made a trip to the Leipzig Zoo. We did some more shopping downtown and enjoyed ice cream, long walks, swimming at the lake, and just hanging out with family. The stairs and pathway on the side of the house are now finished and Gabe was such a big help with his shovels and wheelbarrow. We were going to go to a children's amusement park yesterday similar to Lego Land but Manuel was worn out and wanted to stay put.

Gabe has had a fun little adventure of sleeping in different locations all throughout the house. He first camped out in a tent for a week in Daniela's house (which is attahced to the rest of the family's house). Then he got scared of the red lights that came on at night on the large wind mills on the hill. So then he camped out on the floor in our room but was easily awakened by Paisley throughout the night. SO now he has moved on to Oma's room. I think we have found a winner!

Today we went to church at the Plauen branch and visited with old friends. We went last Sunday but some of our friends were not there. It's amazing how you can feel the spirit so strong through music. When the branch choir sang "I Know that My Redeemer Lives" I could feel the spirit very strong even though I could not understand the words. They are such a friendly group of people and very strong in the gospel. It's amazing how the gospel is the same (strong, firm, and true)all across the world. The Holy Spirit knows no boundaries and does not discriminate.

Of course I forgot the camera and couldn't take pictures of the church and our friends. Oh well. I put together a fun slideshow of all the fun memories and special moments we had this week of course with my own little personal commentary :) He he he he. Enjoy!!

Looks like you're still having fun! I still can't get over how much our girls look alike! I saw a picture of Paisley on FB the other day (the one in her yellow outfit) and had to double check that it wasn't Eri. So funny!
