Happy Halloween and Birthday!

We love Halloween! The kids went trick-or-treating at Dad's work and then we had a trunk-or-treat in the park the next day. We went trick-or-treating that night with Manuel and my sister Cherise. The kids had a great time. We drove to some really cool houses and didn't mind the rain. In fact there was a beautiful rainbow right before we started trick-or-treating.

It was Manuel's birthday on the 30th and I made him a 3 layer orange dreamsicle cake. I made it up. It had his favorite flavors - orange, vanilla and raspberry. It was yummy. he kids and I did a special treasure hunt for him in the morning. Because he turned the big 30 we hid 30 poem verses with 30 clues and 30 gifts for him. I think he really liked it. Then I took him to one of his favorite restaurants Sushi Ya. It's all you can eat sushi. He ate himself sick. Then we went to the Iceberg for his free birthday shake. My mom came up Saturday and my sister and we had a fun little party.
