Tumbling, Fishing and Being Silly

My little monster mouths. The kids got these from the treasure box after family home evening. It helps them sit quietly through our lessons knowing that there is a reward like this at the end.

Paisley took a sample tumbling class this week as you can see from the videos she had a great time and was overly confident. I just can't justify spending $36 a month for her to jump around to animal songs and learn about colors for one hour each week. The teacher never taught them technique or anything really she would just read stories and say, "Go jump on that" or "roll down this". At least it was free.

After that we went to Day Farms and picked pumpkins. Then a big rain storm came and we had to jump in the car. Nothing funner than pumpkins and rain storms. I love autumn.

I've been making some more yummy meals and they are all featured on my recipe blog http://cookwithlindsey.blogspot.com/

Me and Gabe went fishing with my dad at East Canyon. I have never caught a fish before and have taken myself fishing three times now. My dad didn't think we would catch much because we went later in the day. To everyone's surprise we hooked 18 fish in 4 hours. Seven of our fish got away when we tried to net them. It was about a fish every 10 minutes. Sometimes we'd catch one before we had even cast all the line into the water. It was a great day for fishing and my favorite memory with my dad. We had a pic-nic on the boat and Gabe loved it.
