Wasatch Woman of the Year Awards Cermony

I was honored as Wasatch Woman Magazine's Mother of the Year on Friday. It was at the Hilton in Salt Lake City. My dad and his wife Candice were our guests at the ceremony. Lex De Azevedo performed. He performed a song with his daughter Rachel Coleman who was last year's Wasatch Woman of the Year. She is a musician, actress and is the inventor of Signing Time which is that sign language program for babies. She performed a beautiful song she wrote for her children in sign language.

I didn't know I was going to get an actual award. It felt like I was getting an Oscar or something. They really went all out and it was very humbling. All the winners got a dozen roses and this trophy and made a speech. The awards were presented to us by the ladies on Good Things Utah. They were so nice.

It was an amazing experience I will never forget and I met a lot of awesome women!! They all thought that Manuel was sooo cute too. Click here to see my magazine spread and article.

Congratulations, Linday! That is awesome and you are amazing! I have to admit, though...I hate reading your blog because I feel like I should be doing more with my life. What an example of self-motivation you are!
