Happy New Year!

What an exciting year it has been! We celebrated New Year's Eve Day by playing in the snow. Manuel built a little sledding hill in the front yard. Then later we made a Mexican Dinner. We had tamales and tried to make toquitos but when that didn't work we turned them into quesadillas . Manuel made a huge batch of guacomole dip and shrimp and we had fresh salsa and virgin margaritas. So yummy!

Then we watched a movie on TV and had ice cream with root beer and Dr. Pepper toppings. We lit sparklers and set up tents in the family room where we had a camp out. The kids didn't make it to midnight so we celebrated earlier. After hours of dancing and goofing around they finally crashed at 11:00 pm. What a night!!
