We continued with our family tradition of a feast of appetizers and a camp out in the living room - complete with a late evening of fireworks. Yes, we actually let our kids stay up until midnight on New Years - if they are able too. Of course, it was no problem for them. They weren't ornery and they aren't ornery today.
I mad a roast with creamy horseradish sauce, sweet & spicy chicken (my favorite homemade wing sauce), cheese fondue, steamed mushrooms, a veggie tray, exotic cheeses, a shrimp ring, ginger ale, cracker tray, and creme brulee. I invited guests but they had other plans, so the food will last us all weekend. We played games and watched movies and the kids got to use their new sleeping bags they got for Christmas. We still had a bucket of fireworks let from July so we lit them. It was cold but the kids had fun. I am tired and I hope I can recover. - Oh that picture of Paisley sporting a Lady Ga Ga look was her sneaking into my mascara. So young!

That was one new years spread you made! It all looked like it came right out of a professional cook book. Glad you guys had fun!
