Birthday, Mother's Day, and More!

Gabe turned 4 today (5/20) and we made him king for a day. He could do just about whatever he wanted and request what he wanted eat.

We had a big pancake breakfast and put candles on his pancakes. He loved it! He then was surprised to find a trampoline on the side of the house from Oma. He was in heaven. Paisley was too. Then he opened up gifts from us and Opa. He said he got everything he ever wanted.

It was an endless day of playing for everyone. Gabe didn't even have to take a nap. Then we went to the Iceberg for dinner and Gabe got a Free birthday shake. It was bigger than him.

Paisley is obsessed with her Easter hat and has to wear it all day (even to bed). That's why she has it on in just about every picture. She loves to dress up.

Gabe's last day of preschool was this week. He was sad. He missed his own graduation (a week ago) as we drove to the wrong location. I cried for hours because I felt so bad. Gabe was a good sport about it.

I found out this week that our baby may now be a girl. I figure either way I am bound to have a boy or a girl :)

We had a family party to celebrate Cameron, Stacey and Todd's birthdays and none of them were able to make it to their party. Stacey went in to labor that day and had the twins on Cameron's birthday. What an event! So, Gabe blew out the candles for them and we sang to them even though they weren't there. We had a salsa bar and it was yummy!

I ordered my first Bountiful Basket this week and as you can see it was well worth the $15. What a great deal and a great variety.

We painted our living room a pretty blue on Mother's Day weekend. And spent the last week redecorating and getting some new furniture. We'll share those picts later.

Of course I've made lot's of new yummy meals and had to take pictures. This blog features a tasty omelet roll, stuffed chicken rolls with tangy sauce & crumbled bacon, and a delicious avocado salad with homemade mango salad dressing.
