Happy Birthday and Halloween!

We celebrated Manuel's birthday last weekend and Halloween on Monday. Grandma Bev came to babysit on Saturday so I could take Daddy out!

We went to the neighborhood trick-or-treat walk at 3:30 pm. Then Grandma took the kids to the ward chili cook off Fall party at the church. I took Manuel to his favorite Sushi restaurant Sushi Ya. Then we went to the new movie theater in Farmington and saw Moneyball. It was a really cool theater.

On Sunday I made Manuel an authentic Italian dinner. He opened presents and we watched 17 Miracles the movie I bought him. Then we had cake and ice cream.

Last Friday I met my sister at Gardner Village and we saw the witches and had lunch. Then that night we went to the kids' school costume parade and Halloween movie.

On Monday we had Halloween enchiladas and a salsa bar. Manuel took the kids trick-or-treating and then I traded off later. We watched scary movies all night and danced to Halloween music.

Today I took down all the decorations and decorated for Thanksgiving. I can't believe my favorite holiday is over.
