Crazy Week!

You gotta love McGrath's! I celebrated my 30th birthday on Saturday and it was fun. We also went to the train festival in Ogden with my mom and nephew. The kids had a blast. We took the front runner to Union Station and ate at the Union Grill which is one of the best restaurants in Utah. Then Manuel took me to pick out a new phone. We found the perfect phone and they were out of it. They called around and no one had it (I will be getting texting again halelujah!) So then we went to get some shoes. I found the perfect pair and they were out! They called around and no one had it. So then we went to Ross and I found some clothes. the dressing room line was a mile long so Manuel told me to try them on at home. So I got home and nothing fit or looked good. Poor Manuel had tried so hard. So then we went to dinner and after waiting 30 minutes to be seated it had seemed as though they had forgotten us - turned out they had! After all of that I thought we deserved some cake. So we went to Smiths and bought a 3 layer lemon creme cake with cherries on top. We went home and sang with the kids.

We had to put our dog Mitzie down over a week ago. She had kidney failure. It was the saddest thing we ever had to do. That night I went on a girls night out that was posted on the ward facebook page. It was good to get out and go see a play. The next day I got hit with some good news. I got a surprise phone call at the gym and was asked to host a reality TV show that has to do with married couples and date ideas. Never saw that one coming. I can't say much more about it but we begin filming in a week. I am so excited!
