Thursday night we went to the neighborhood firework party. Lindsey painted a festive shirt for Gabe. Gabe ate 8 popsicles and was on a sugar high. He loved watching the fireworks even though he thought they were too loud. He played with friends and graffitied with sidewalk chalk all over the neighbor's driveway. This morning we had a special 4th of July pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon. Lindsey painted a firework on Gabe's face for the parade. He said "Mommy, Daddy I look pretty!". We went to the parade and sat with our neighbors Shannah, Sam and their twin boys. Gabe enjoyed the parade but loved the storm drain the most. He saw cheerleaders doing flips in the parade and tried to copy by doing a sommersault in the street. Gabe got lots of candy with some help from Dad.

We should get together and take the kids swimming this summer.
I found your blog off of Katie's . I looks like you had a great holiday! Can you believe I had my baby already?? Not expected but we love her so much! I can't wait to meet Paisley!
