Full Moon!!
Really cool house in our neighborhood. They put life size characters in their windows every year. It looks like a real haunted house.

Frankenstien, Merlin the wizard, a witch, zombie, vampire and skeleton man.
Lindsey is a "Draper Housewife" Fake chest, fake tan, fake hair and fake nails!
Gabe checking out Mitzie's house

Caden and Gabe, twin spiders.
Manuel is a "Chick Magnet" there are Barbie doll stickers all over his clothes.
The "head on a Platter" made by Crista. The entire head is edible. The graham cracker "fingers" are for dipping in the bloody brain. It's actually just cheesecake, whipped cream and fondant. The blood clots on the bottom are cherries and the brain is a rice cake with cherry sauce.
Above - Lindsey's "Finger Foods" A bloody arm serving caramel pecan cream cheese with apple slices. The picture saved black and white?????

October 2007
Hi everyone!
We have lots of exciting news for the month of October! First of all its Manuel's birthday on the 30th, that's always exciting. Second, Lindsey's dad is getting baptized on Friday the 5th. We are all very excited for this and have waited years for this news. Yeah!
Third, as seen below Manuel and Lindsey completed the SLC Hair Bandz booth just in time for the Kottage Kupboard boutique which is from 10/3 - 10/6 at Golden Spike Events Center in Ogden. It was on Channel 2 news this morning 10/3/07. A lot of hard work and time was involved in the making of these hair accessories but is has been worth it!
Speaking of hard work, Lindsey wrote a book on how to date your spouse. At the end of September she was contacted for a publishing contract. She is now a signed author with Spring Creek Publishing and her book will be available in all bookstores next spring (Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Deseret Book). She is very excited!
Fall has been a busy season for all of us but staying busy is always fun! Never a boring moment with the Rietzsch family! Gabe is still as cute as ever and we plan to post picts of him in his Halloween costume by the end of the month. He's going to be a spider. We hope you are doing well and enjoy this Fall season!
Love,
The Rietzsch Family

September 2007
Gabe love's his mom's cooking!!!
This will be short as we don't have too much going on right now. We have decided to finish our basement this fall which will add an office, bedroom and bathroom. We are going to move the office downstairs and which will free up another bedroom upstairs where we plan to move Gabe. Manuel plans to do most of the labor himself. We also hope to put in wood floors as well, its hard having a pet and a toddler with off white carpet.
Lindsey's online business is open at www.slcbandz.com She will apply for her business license in November so she doesn't have to pay twice in one year. As soon as she has her license she will be able to sell through more channels than just the internet. She has also applied to have a booth at the Hof Winterfest in January. The county has a judging panel who decides who they want to have booths there. You still have to apply and pay the fees before they decide.
We are excited for the fall weather to arrive! It's been too hot! Hope you all are doing well.
Love

Lindsey's New Business!
Lindsey has found a passion in the art of headband making! She designs her own headbands, and handcrafts them under the business name SLC Head Bandz. We are in the process of building her a website for her store but in the meantime she has an ebay store where you can purchase some of her designs and refer your friends. You can visit http://stores.ebay.com/SLC-Head-Bandz or if you go to slcbandz.com it should link you to the ebay store until the website is finished.
In the meantime we have been talking with some boutiques in the valley who may carry her headbands. It will all depend if we can negotiate a good deal. We'll keep you updated. Also, if you are interested in hosting a headband party contact Lindsey as she will split a percentage of the sales with you from your party. If you need cash this could help!
